Simphony System Administration
Course Description
This course focuses on the knowledge and skills required to program entire menus, touch screens and employees and how to troubleshoot common problems. There is particular emphasis on POS programming fundamentals to include planning and maintenance of the MICROS database. Additionally Enterprise, Property, and Revenue Center level programming will be reviewed.
The majority of the course will consist of instructor led lecture in the English language and hands on exercises.

Prerequisites
Participants should be familiar with the files in EMC (Enterprise Management Console) and should be able to perform the following functions:
- Perform POS operations: “ring in transactions”
- Run PMC Reports and Procedures
- Add a menu item
- Add an employee
- Run reports from mymicros
Participants need to be able to communicate both verbally and in writing using the English language with course facilitator(s) and other course participants. Participants need to be able to work independently and in a small group environment. Participants should at minimum possess the technical skills of an advanced computer user.
This course is designed to Customers who have been a property expert at a MICROS Simphony site for at least six months prior to attending this course.
